This treatment combines Skin Microneedling (or Collagen Induction Therapy) and Infusion of medical grade, bioactive retinoid – Retinoic acid, and hydration booster – Hyaluronic acid.

Skin Needling is a globally known skin rejuvenation treatment, which involves the creation of micro-channels with the help of rapid vertical penetration of an electric needling device containing 16 needles.

Skin needling activates the human body’s natural skin healing ability and is commonly used to enhance and improve the following skin conditions:

• Wrinkles (fine lines and deep folds)
• Acne, surgical or trauma scars
• Pigmentation (melasma, sun spots, hyperpigmentation)
• Dull, de-hydrated and photodamaged skin

Medical grade 0.05% retinoic acid is an ingredient, which is absorbed by the deepest layers of your skin without any topical barriers (upper skin tissues)

Retinoic acid is the strongest form of retinoids, which are the only scientifically proven compounds, which can reset the DNA of your skin cells and make them act “young” again. Retinoids are extremely intense collagen and elastin stimulants, resulting in:

1. Thicker, smoother skin
2. Reduced redness and rosacea
3. Prevention of hydration loss in the skin
4. Considerably fewer wrinkles and fine lines

Retinol, by interacting with DNA receptors inside keratinocytes (skin cells), promotes their proliferation, strengthens the epidermal protective function, reduces skin water loss, and protects collagen against breaking down.

what is “meso”?

MESO means “intermediate” or “penetrating”. Meso serums are compounds made from the very small size of the molecules, which enables them to penetrate through the microscopic “holes” in the skin. This way the product reaches the core of the dermis (collagen powerhouse) and does not sit on the top of the skin.

is it painful?

Before each treatment commences, a local anesthetic is applied to the surface of your skin. Skin needling is a relatively quick procedure (15-30 minutes), so if you do feel a slight pain sensation, it will typically be for a brief time only.

aftercare

We recommend keeping the area dry for 12 hours post-treatment. Moisturise the treated area 2-3 times daily using a bland moisturiser (paraben and fragrance-free). Make-up should not be worn 24 hours post-treatment. SPF 30+ (zinc based) must be worn daily for 4 weeks post-treatment

downtime

Your skin may feel warm to touch, like a mild sunburn sensation. This should last no longer than a day or two. Three days after the treatment you may notice that your skin becomes a little dry and flaky. This is a completely normal process due to the rapid cell renewal as a result of the potency of the retinoic acid.

Clients must use bland (fragrance-free) moisturiser 2-3 times daily for the first 48 hours post-treatment.

how many treatments?

It is recommended to undergo 3-4 monthly treatments to achieve the maximum result.
